The photo eye with the amber light sends out the light while the green sensor is the receiver.

If aligned correctly the green sensor will remain on and glow steadily.
With the switch still away from the wall reconnect the electrical supply and use the switch taking care not to touch any metallic parts behind.
Use a stud find if necessary and measure and mark the location on the inside wall where the fixture will be.
If all is ok the new outside light should light up.
If this has happened you ll need to put them back together.
Make sure there is room to mount the fixture boxes.
When your flood lights are fully functional angle their light bulbs as needed to achieve the maximum light coverage.
If there is drywall on the garage walls cut a small access hole at this location.
If the lights do not turn on switch off the area s power using the circuit breaker box and double check your work for misplaced wires or other installation issues.
Remove the retaining covers holding the light to the exterior wall.
Slide the light off of the anchor screws this will expose the wiring.
Ensure all connections are tight.
Look to see if either the black hot wires or the white neutral wires have come apart.
