I am finding it difficult answered by a verified solicitor. His house is in a very poor sttae of repair and i don t want mine to go the same way. Since they are not willing to cooperate your best bet is to consult with a real estate attorney. This has caused penetrating damp damage to my plaster and mould on one wall in my living room.

I had this next doors guttering dripped on to my property and damaged it over time. Just on the neighbours side of the downpipe the guttering was bodged and cut too short to meet the down pipe joint correctly. Personally i would now ask her again and say that the situation is getting worse and causing damage to your property give her one month to resolve issue. Subsequently this leaks and turns our garden into a quagmire and makes the bedroom damp when it rains. It is understandable anyone not wanting to get into a row with their neighbour but this is a very selfish of her not to respond. I mentioned it everytime i saw them and eventually they got it sorted.
